Return-to-Work are a growing initiative to help professionals return to the workforce after an extended break. This can be a great “keyword” to search for when browsing for leads!
One such example is Lockheed Martin’s “Chapter Next” program: “Lockheed Martin’s Chapter Next Program provides the opportunity to re-engage returning professionals who have been away from the workforce for two or more years to resume their previously successful careers.”
Chapter Next is a 12-16 week paid returnship, that will align participants with a job that best compliments their skills and abilities. During this returnship, participants will become part of a community similarly experienced professionals with challenging work scopes who are contributing to Lockheed Martin’s culture of innovation. Selected candidates will be exposed to comprehensive training, professional development opportunities, networking opportunities, and individual-based mentoring to help re-enter the workforce that much easier.
Our goal is to provide the fundamental tools needed to be successful in your career field, and to potentially prepare you for an opportunity to join Lockheed Martin full-time.
