I use Anchor.fm to upload and distribute my podcast. I find to very easy and use, especially for a beginner!
Home Sound Booth

VideoPad Video Editor
To do basic editing of the audio file, I use the VideoPad Video Editor Software.
I often record the podcast itself using Zoom Video Conference Software, especially when I’m recording with a guest.
